The fox nuzzled his nose against the rabbit's, and both closed their eyes
"I love you" he said, holding the white flowers he had just picked up while waiting for his friend
The timid, red-eyed rabbit held his breath for some seconds, before opening his mouth, pinkish lips quivering with the anticipation of his answer.
"...But I-I'm a rabbit, you're supposed to eat me. What's more, you should have had already eaten me"
The sly, playful fox looked at him with his walnut eyes, smiling slightly, showing his pointy fangs and answered:
"Foxes are supposed to eat rabbits, as rabbits are supposed to hide from us. None of us has done any of that from the start. Why should we start caring right now about the norm?"
